Your journey begins by submitting your application through our careers board — by email or through our automatic form.
Approximately 10–15 minutes.
Submit an up-to-date CV highlighting relevant social, creator, or operational work — not a generic marketing résumé.
People reviews applications on a rolling basis. Suitable candidates receive an initial email confirming their profile match and outlining the assessment track assigned to the role.
To support hybrid studios and a globally distributed team — while keeping evaluation fair — candidates follow one of three tracks.
Track A · Office-based / on-site roles
In-person interview in Toronto, New York, or Los Angeles with the hiring manager and a department lead.
Craft, taste, culture-add, and how you collaborate under live-campaign pressure. Includes a walk through the studio or war-room.
Arrive 10 minutes early. Bring a photo ID for visitor registration. Have 2–3 pieces of shipped work you can talk about without slides.
Track B · Remote roles in compatible timezones
Live video via Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
Problem-solving, communication, and how you run remote work without disappearing between standups.
Reliable connection, working camera and microphone, quiet space. Have a reel, dashboard, or case you can screen-share.
Track C · Remote roles across differing timezones
Independent completion of a domain-specific brief — creator shortlist, community escalation, or measurement readout — plus our optional social-first test.
Replaces the first live interview. Measures judgment, written clarity, and execution quality under a fixed window.
You receive a brief and 48–72 hours to submit. Scoring notes and instructions are included. We do not ask for free client work.
Every candidate who completes Stage 2 hears back. If you join us, onboarding starts before Day 1.
Every candidate completing Stage 2 receives feedback on their performance, regardless of the outcome. We respect the effort you put in.
Successful candidates receive a formal offer covering compensation, health benefits, contract type (on-site, hybrid, or remote), and start date.
Once you accept, People runs pre-boarding — equipment, software access, and orientation — so you are not guessing on Day 1.
Whether you meet us in a studio, on a video call, or through a case, this is how to show your best work.
Explain how you approach problems, structure solutions, and evaluate trade-offs — not only what you produced.
For remote candidates we look for self-direction, written clarity, and comfort with collaborative documentation.
We value genuine expertise over rehearsed answers. Ask meaningful questions about how social actually operates here.
